    Nike Pro Dri-FIT Hijab, 2025

    In 2017, Nike became the first major American company to sell a sports hijab, designed for athletes who wear traditional Islamic head coverings. Nike's designers worked with hijabi athletes, such as Olympic fencing medalist Ibtihaj Muhammad, to create head coverings that were aerodynamic, lightweight, and breathable to the wearer from prevent over-heating.
